I am wondering what kind of responsibility NCOs in the USMC have. I am humble enough to work my way up to a leadership position and I feel drawn to enlist. At the same time, I am a college student and wondering if I should stick out the rest of these years at the University and become a commissioned officer. Other than the money, the challenge of a hefty leadership role is the only thing that attracts me to commissioned officership. I am sure that enlisted Marines all have important roles and the chance to earn an NCO postition. Would someone shed some light into the job of an NCO versus a commissioned officer? Thank you
