15 inch versus 2 x 12 inch speaker cab?

i'm building a speaker cab but am unsure whether to fit a single 15 or two 12 inch speakers. amp section is peavey delta blues 30w valve unit. what is the difference in tone between them. I use the clean channel mostly, playing an hollow archtop through it, but flog the overdrive with a lp a fair bit too
