Baseball Fans, Have You Ever Thought Of This Issue?

As a fan of a team with a beautiful stadium and a history of ineptitude I would "win once in uglyville then build a beautiful stadium"...which in many ways is what happened to the Mariners in '95 although they didn't win the World Series - their sudden popularity was enough to finally get approval to build Safeco and get out of the absolutely horrible Kingdome.
