Can we thank Republicans and de-regulation for Fannie Mae/Freddy Mac?

You can thank both your Republican and Democrat congressmen and congresswomen for the de-regulation. Mostly you can thank them for insisting on the lending laws being bent for minorities and people with low incomes to buy homes with no money down and no income to make the payments. My sister in California knows a couple that works at the counter at McDonald's and they bought a $600,000 house. Go figure why they are in foreclosure. Thank our lousy Congress!
