Does anyone recall the old Gaelic/Celtic warning to visitors not to steal "from beneath these floors" etc?

Sounds like something that would have been put in the churches as once it was the convention to plant the departed on hallowed ground and that meant in the church. Later the church yard was also considered hallowed but, judging from the number of "dark" creatures popularly considered to be hanging around there the graveyard may not be hallowed enough.
