I feel like I'm right, everyone else feels they are when it comes to my son...?

He is your son, you two have a bond that even your fiance doesn't have with him let alone his family! If you feel that you know what is best for your son, then you do it. It is your right as a mother. It is not their child, or their right to tell you what's best for him or take over when he cries. This is so infuriating to me! If you believe you have seen an improvement in the mylicon, then by all means continue what you have been doing. I have found that much of caring for a newborn (for first time mommies) is something along the lines of trial and error. I have also found that mylicon works wonders for gy and fussy babies! I would transition your son to the new formula a little slower and continue to use the mylicon. If you feel the new formula is working well, stick with it and simply ask your family to respect your wishes.
