My son is 13 (stb 14) and until recently has lived 50% of the time with his father and 50% of his time with me?

Okay, well I grew up with seperated parents and what you have to understand is it's really hard for children with separated parents. When i was a kid my brother and I hated our step mom, because she would do stupid things and got really jealous of the relationship my father and i had (i was a daddy's girl and like a carbon copy of him), but even if she didnt, i still wouldnt have liked her, because she wasn't my mom and she was in my moms space. He is probably wishing that you and his dad would get back together, and with step dad 'in the way' that isnt going to happen. Obviously you have no intention of it happening step dad or no step dad, but he won't get this and even if he does, it won't change his opinion. It might not even be this, he might just want you all to himself, and feel as if step dad is taking you away for him. One thing for sure, is you need to talk to his dad and make sure you both enforce punishments and consequences equally, so you're not ending up with the big bad wolf title. You might want dad to have some father son time and talk to him about respect, and dealing with anger, how to tell people when you're upset and explain what's wrong rather than shoving/hitting them. But don't baby or patronize him! Also bear in mind that he will have a lot of pride and you cannot hurt it, so breach the subject tactfully. You need to stop treating him like a child and more like a teenager or young adult, i know for sure that my little brother was mommy's baby his whole life and my mom always treated him like he was a baby, and my sister and i like we were older teenagers or adults from about age 10 in terms of responsibilities and behaviour. You need to explain to him the situation, how you aren't going to get back with his dad (make sure you dont diss his dad because right now he probably idolizes him and this will just make him not trust you) and make sure that you can spend time with him just you two, or just you two and his sister, so that he knows that you are still there for him even if he isnt comfortable with step dad. Maybe you should ask dad if you can spend a day with you, him, and the kids? If your son can see his father (someone he looks up to and respects) respecting you maybe he will start to respect you! I'm sure he will get over this stage but you have to deal with this very carefully, and don't be harsh, be firm and always make sure he knows you love him and he can come to you with anything and you wont get mad, you will help him. My parents favor my brother and it is getting out of hand?

I am bulimic and my parents ignore the fact that I am. When I told my mom about my issue...the first thing she said was "well can't you just stop throwing up?" Once you do, be the best employee that you can. Build a good reputation along with any experience that you can get. Be willing and eager to learn new things. If you believe you have seen an improvement in the mylicon, then by all means continue what you have been doing. I have found that much of caring for a newborn (for first time mommies) is something along the lines of trial and error. I have also found that mylicon works wonders for gy and fussy babies! I would transition your son to the new formula a little slower and continue to use the mylicon. 2 questions about Canaries?

You are better just to have another canaries rather than zebra finches in a cage. They are ok in a aviary as there is alot more space to get away from each other together but i wouldn't recommend it in a cage. I have found as i have both in my aviary that they tend to stick to their own kind and don't really interact with each other.

What's wrong with my chicken?

one of my chickens started acting strangely a couple of days ago, firstly it was almost as if she was drunk and I thought she may have eaten some fermented berries or something (they're free range) so I shut her in the hutch. The next day there was no change but I was working so couldn't monitor her properly. Today however she's taken a turn for the worse and could barely make it out of the hutch it was like her legs weren't working properly. I've separated her from the others, who are all acting normally and got her in a cardboard box in the house, I've checked her over and she seems fine apart from her keel which is bare and looks red and quite sore. She is eating fine but she can't sit properly and sits with her legs to the side and looks very uncomfortable. She's an Andalusian bantam who normally hates to be picked up but now she doesn't even struggle when I pick her up. If anyone knows anything else to look for please let me know. If you know what it is and how to treat it that would be great! Thanks.

Is it a big deal if the vtec smokes?

My buddie has a 97 Honda Prelude with a vtec engine swap. He told me the old engine (which was also vtec) was fine but there was something wrong with the compression. So he sent off the old one, had it fixed, and meanwhile put in a new vtec engine. But now with this engine, he says when the vtec kicks in the vtec smokes. When it idols the car is fine. The car could set there til the battery died idoling and it wouldn't smoke but when you rev the car up and the vtec hits that when it smokes. I'm not sure what that means but he wants to sell me the car and he says I get both engines. So my question is is it a big deal if the vtec smokes. Is it an easy fix. I'm thinking it could be the gasket. Maybe it needs a new head. I'm not sure. Ideas on how to fix it, or is it worth the buy.

Hp PSC 1210 printer wont print?

I just hooked it up to my laptop (vista) and i set everything up. It would print at first, but when I reset my comp, it changed from pending to ready and a doent printed. Now it wont print. I l enjoy train travel: Overall, it's a better group of riders than on buses. It's not cramped, and you do not have to stay in your seat. You will sleep in your seat, unless you want to pay BIG bucks for a bed in a very small space. Many routes have a dining car (tables/chairs, menus, and a waiter) which is not cheap. Other trains have more informal choices (see link below), but I'd bring at least some food of my own if I were you. Socializing is possible with others sitting near you in coach or dining, but the most socializing is usually done in the lounge (bar) car.

you're probably fine, you have to run those pumps dry for quite a while, it sounds like you never ran it dry, the fluid may have leaked out but as long as you didnt run around "strong arming it" you should be OK. replace the hose and fill er up. if it doesnt make noise and the power ist works good you are all good.

I am babysitting and the little girl told me about how she likes to scrub her body(meaning her ) and the boy will "ride the horsy" while things. When they were supposed to be taking a nap, I walked into the little girl's room and I think that she was her pillow and blanket but she got up right away when I went in. Her dress was unoned. She told me that it feels really really good when she scrubs her body. I find it extremely hilarious, but is it normal at this young of an age(girl-5 boy-4). Low back pain from fall ?

i had a fall at work and fell on my tailbone and been off work for 3 months . been to pysio ect had acupuncture ,tens unit mage nothing has worked have tingling down my legs , numbness in my toes pain in my hips and across my lower back and the pain goes up my back to . dr has given me antinflamitorys they haven't worked nothing seems to work now he wants to do a bone density test all i had so far is a xray nothing broken thank god . but the pain just wont go away and its very annoying and very limited to what i can do i think i need a mri to see if there is any damage but dr thinks there will be nothing there i think my self its nerve damage from the fall compo says they find nothing wrong and can go back to normal duties i cant even do my own house work with out in pain , i work as a custodian so lots of cleaning , any suggestions on what to do would help ty

Tree trimming- Can I cut them in the cold ?

In the winter, trees go into hibernation. Cutting them in the winter won't hurt them, but in the spring, you'll get a ton of new growth. That will keep them from looking 'cut', but they may also grow back to close to the original size, depending on how much you take off. (If you cut 5 feet off a 10 foot branch, and it grows another foot, you just end up with a 6 foot branch. If you take off a foot, you just keep it to the same size it was.) If you want them to stay small, cut them mid to late spring, after the new growth has already sprouted. Branches grow from the ends, so if you cut off the ends in the spring, it will stop the branch growth (lenght wise) completely until the following spring. The tree will still increase in girth- in both branches and trunk. If you cut them now, the branches will still grow longer in the spring, and they will look more natural. Good luck!

This one can be tricky. The immediate answer is no, Xbox arcade was not wrong and I have never had a problem with the rules there. The detailed answer is as follows: The reason that certain cards cannot attack or use tap abilities the turn they come out is because of summoning sickness. You may have notice that this only applies to creature cards, which is true. Creatures come into play with Summong Sickness, and this means that they cannot tap or attack until your next turn. This can confuse many players by thinking that you may use a tap ability on your opponents turn after you play a creature. This is not true, you must wait until it becomes your turn again. Some creatures have haste, which allows them to attack or use tap abilities the turn they are played, and certain spells can give creatures haste. All other permanents can be tapped, including artifacts, the turn they come out unless otherwise stated on the card. I hope this helped :)

Why is my new processor, the Intel Core 2 Quad 9550 2.83 MHZ, showing up in CPU-Z with a core speed of 1144MHz?

I JUST got a new computer that I had built custom. My processor's are the Intel Core 2 Quad 9550 2.83 GHZ. I ran 3D mark vantage...processors ranked in as with 5,500 points. Not great...but whatever...then I check the Internal Speed and it says it is 1.1 GHz. I am like what? So I go and download CPU-Z and it is saying my Core Speed is 1145.0 MHz....Shouldnt it be 2.83 GHz? Or 2800 MHz? Did my custom CPU builder screw me? Are the processors bad? I have no clue... please help...and thank you in advance. This is really getting me worried here cause these were expensive processors for me.

I think it's due to weak muscles. Don't feel hurt or angry, but a 2 years ago when I was 15, even my hands and legs used to shake while doing some exercise. If it is what i think it is, I'd suggest that you start doing some exercise but only little on the first day, say for 5 min, everyday till the time they don't stop shaking and then slowly extend the time.

Hey. I was raised in a very diff. culture than most people. My parents were extremely overprotective to the point where I never went trick-or-treating on Halloween and I was not allowed to attend any birthday parties or go over anyones house until I was like 14. Will the new nfl kickoff rule make the game worse?

I know this happened a while back but the nfl changed the rule where teams now kickoff from their own 35 instead of their own 30. IMO, i hate the rule bc i think it will negate alot of the impact of returners like Devin Hester and Josh Cribbs. Now, teams will probably have more touchbacks, and they can avoid kicking it to return men more often since a squib kick will now be recovered deeper in a receiving teams territory. How to train my lazy dog to be motivated?

I have a 5 month english bulldog and he is as lazy as can be. I sometimes have to carry him outside from the bed or he will take his sweet time to slowly waddle to the door, about 15 minutes if I don't pick him up. There is only a couple of steps in the house but I will be moving to an apartment in about a month or so and I will be on the third floor. 2 BAD dreams about my mom?!?

This is the 2nd bad dream I have of my mom...the 1st one happened towards the end of february...i dreamed that I was in a store with my dads side grandma & aunt...they were looking for clothes to buy for my moms funeral...while there I found a purple seashell that I wanted to buy so that I can put in her coffin...amethist is her birth stone...i woke up right after...i dont know how she died in my dream...also, I felt like I was younger...THEN, about a week later, I got in2 a HUGE fight with her & she ended up kicking me out the house...it was a very nasty fight...words were said on both ends that I know we didnt mean...we had NEVER had a fight like this...basically, she found a small bookbag in my closet that I was holding for my boyfriend with a little pot in it...i dont smoke, I was just holding it for him...so, I dreamed again about an hour ago, I did some research here first, but couldnt find much...thats why I decided to write...in this dream, it was me, my mom & some rasta looking black guy, very dark with dreads & a jamaican inspired headband...i was standing in the living room, the rasta guy was sitting on the couch, & my mom was in the kitchen...the dream was based on a 'drug deal' my mom & rasta were the 1s talking business, but he kept telling her she was short in $$ or something...i know that the deal was going bad but he was acting really cool & nonchalant about it, like he didnt care cause he knew he wasnt gonna loose...my mom isnt good under pressure in real life...after a few minutes of talking I heard my mom say she couldnt take it nemore & said she was gonna kill her self...i ran towards the kitchen & saw her with TWO guns pointed at her...1 in the heart & the other in the stomach...i cried & yelled at her to plz stop but she didnt listen...there was a blank look on her face...she pulled the triggers & I caught her & I started screaming 4 help while dialing 911..what could all this,mean? I'm scheduled to go to MEPS on Tuesday for my physical and to pick my job. I've heard that Hospital Corpsman is really hard to get into/advance within because the job is so overmanned. I don't think there is any for 200. Lowest I saw (since I only have about 460 left) is for 400. MS did have some holiday sales recently where they dropped the price of some games even lower, possibly around the 200 mark but they probably still weren't worth the purchase. My dvd drive does not work, I cannot access any windows, basically i deleted everything on my harddrive using the recovery console. I typed diskpart, deleted my hard drive, then created a 50gb partition. Then when I loaded windows xp media center edition, the format either failed because an error(setup cannot load because hard drive...something) or it just stays at 0%. Is there any program that runs from ms-dos and I can install on a usb? I don't want .iso files, I need a usb type thing.

Using Kyocera SOHO w/USB Cable to connect to Dialup ISP, my problem or ISP's?

I have a Kyocera Soho, a Dial up account, and a USB cord to connect the Soho to my laptop. I have the settings all created so that my ISP dials up on COM4, which it dials up on the Soho. It dials fine, pes the verifying user name and pword, but then gets stuck on the Registering your computer part, and then times out. Any idea who's end this is on, mine or my ISP's? 70 days? There will a committee formed to determine the type of service each nation will be allowed to provide. Then, the Coast Guard will have approve the committee's action. Maybe the 12 nations will be allowed to help if the labor unions do not stop the help by dictating that the Jones Act prohibits any other worker than U.S. labor can be used. The the U.S. labor will have to be trained. Then it is 2011. I don't know why it took 70 days to make a simple decision. For some reason, I imagine that it be declared a "Bush is to blame" case.

Why would God make sentient prey animals?

It seems like a good ecological structure to have certain animals that eat plants and other animals that eat meat and it all fits together to keep the ecosystem going smoothly. But isn't it a little strange to think that a good, loving, wise god would create a world full of sentient, thinking, feeling creatures that feel fear and pain and that have a will to live, but whose purpose in life is to be hunted and brutally killed by other animals? Think of all those poor rabbits out there in the wild. Why didn't God just create a world where all animals eat plants? To keep animal populations under control, just have it be that animals reproduce at much lower rate.
