Need help with a girl?

I really really like this girl and she really really likes me but shes dating one of my friends but i know him and hes only going after her to get in her pants but i actually care about her shes going to dump him b/c she likes me but yeah i dont know if i should ask her out even if my friend doesnt care about her it still may hurt him and me end up friendless
